Headroom (audio)
The margin left below digital full scale (0 dBFS). Exceeding it clips the sound irrecoverably, so levels allow for loud moments. Not the framing term.

- 녹음 레벨이 디지털 최대값(0dBFS)에 닿기 전까지 남겨 두는 여유. 넘치면 소리가 찌그러지는 클리핑이 생겨 되살릴 수 없어, 큰 소리에 대비해 여유를 둔다. 구도의 헤드룸과는 다른 말이다.

- 録音レベルがデジタルの最大値（0dBFS）に達するまでに残しておく余裕。超えると音が割れるクリップが起き元に戻せないため、大きな音に備えて余裕を取る。構図のヘッドルームとは別の言葉。
