Fill the two header rows with scene numbers and story days (D1, N2, flashback) and order scenes by story day to see where costumes change. In each cell write the costume number and a short state note (sleeves rolled, wet, stained). Legend: ○ = changed from the previous scene, ? = not decided yet, / = character not in the scene.

Source is one of purchase, make, rent or owned. Record how many doubles you need for costumes that get wet, torn or worn by a double, and how far each is aged. Photograph rented costumes on arrival and track them with the return date.

The PDNote costume & makeup sheet draws the same character × scene matrix straight from scene data, shows empty cells where a character appears, and can sort by story day. pdnote.app
